As I always say, when you bet on a decent team and lose, always come right back with them next game and this held true last night as Texas rebounded and won a big game on the road at Cincinnati. Davidson meanwhile couldn’t shoot at home and missed a bunch of free throws which took them out of their game. Tonight I like 12 games but nothing sticks out as the best. Here they are: Tulsa +8, Mississippi St +2, Drake money line, N. Iowa -8, Missouri State -5, NC State+3, Ohio state money line, Colgate -12, Marquette -11, Florida money line, Wash State +7 and Boston U. money line. We’ll see how those 12 games fare.

Davidson is coming off a home loss to Dayton while Rhode Island is coming off an upset victory over St Joe’s. Rhode Island has yet to play a true road game and Davidson just doesn’t lose back to back home games. Lay the small number here with Davidson.

Texas only two losses this year have come to Marquette on the road and to UConn in an early tournament game. Techs two losses have come to Villanova in a tournament game and to Butler at Butler. Techs last six games have all been at home against cupcakes. I think Texas shows up tonight at home in their conference opener and has their way with Texas Tech.

USC hosts Stanford after Stanford beat Arizona at home, then beat UCLA at UCLA. Trying for three straight here but i doubt they will get it We will back USC at home where they play well and should get a double digit win here.

Lasalle is at Fordham who is coming off a triple overtime victory at George Washington on Wednesday while LaSalle lost their conference opener at home against George Mason. Two even teams here so we will take the points thinking Fordham may have somewhat of a letdown after their tough road victory.
Almost pulled the trigger on UConn last night as they are one of the best teams in the nation and handled North Carolina with ease last night. A team that is no longer under the radar is BYU who is a perfect 8-0 straight up and against the spread. They only beat Evansville by 41 last night and have beaten San Diego state and NC State both by nine and Arizona State by 28. Their next game is at Utah on Saturday. Slu is a 16 pt underdog tonight against Drake and have lost another player in Meadows. They have to play a good game sooner or later. Some leagues have started play but there will be a lull next week for finals. I’ll be ready after the first of the year. There is one interesting game tonight where 6-2 Ball State travels to 0-8 Detroit. Seems like an easy win for Ball State but their wins have all been over cupcakes and they lost to Evansville by 24. Detroit has played a legit schedule and they are a one point favorite despite not having a win yet. A small wager on Detroit is worth it tonight. Good Luck!
