St Louis and Mizzou are both back in action tonight and both teams look lost. Slu which has always been pretty good defensively can’t guard the three point line and on offense they were only able to score 25 points and were only 1-2 from the foul line in the second half vs Dartmouth. They need to watch their own film and see how other teams are not allowing Jimerson any open three point looks and use that defensive scheme against other teams. Mizzou can’t decide on a lineup that works and really none of their new players have stepped up .Making a few small wagers tonight, I’ll list them and see how we do. Stl +7. We will take a shot with the Billikens tomorrow coming back home after their two game losing streak at the Myrtle Beach Invitational. Hughes and Thames have to step it up with Sincere Parker out and they should have no problem doing so against the worst Ivy league team in Dartmouth. Home cookin should prevail and St. Louis should win this one going away. Spread will only go up in this contest.
A little more than a week into the season and tournaments started today with Slu being the only favorite to cover in the first six tournament games. Underdogs are always the bet in neutral court tournament games. The biggest story so far this season has been James Madison who has beaten Michigan State as 16 point dog and then traveled to Kent State in a perfect letdown spot but won 113-108 in ot as a three point dog. They then came home to play Howard as a 12 point fav and after going up 30, cruised to a 107 -86 victory. Each game has gone over also. They are in action tomorrow at home against a pretty good Radford team and opened as an 8 pt fav with a total of 150. Layin low in the first part of the season as planned, think i”ll back SIU-Ed at home this early evening on the money line. Good Luck!

The LeMoyne Dolphins visit Villanova tomorrow for their first bloodbath in D-1 college basketball. This team is new to the Northeastern conference this year and last year lost to St Anselm, Assumption, and Lubbock Christian. They finished 11-9 in their league and 15-15 overall. Now they make the jump to the bigtime and it won’t be pretty. Oklahoma -32 hosting Mississippi Valley State is also very tempting and may be upgraded to a rated play tomorrow.

We will play the big spread as they are currently 6-0 favored by more than 28 with creighton winning easily on Tuesday night. Iowa state hosts lindenwood after beating Green Bay by 41 as a 27 pt favorite on Monday. Lindenwood just lost at Nebraska by 32 and Iowa state is much better. This line will only go up, hope the steak continues.
